Facebook Personality Quiz Exposed 3 Million Users

Facebook data on more than 3 million people who took a personality quiz was published on a poorly protected website where it could have been accessed by unauthorized parties, according to New Scientist. In a report exposing the potential leak, New Scientist says that the data contained Facebook users’ answers to a personality trait test. Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor

Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC), the owner of retailers Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks Off Fifth, and Lord & Taylor, confirmed on Sunday that data from card payments in some of its stores have been compromised. Hackers breached the stores’ payment systems and accessed the credit and debit card information of more than 5 million customers.
